This line drawing is inspired by the work of Pablo Picasso. The project was confined to black and white on an 18'x18' illustration board, so I had to find something other than Picasso's vibrant colors to relate my composition to his paintings. I decided to base my shapes on the angular forms based on his cubist works. The varying line direction is meant to give the illusion of multiple planes, even though it is really a flat surface.
